Jak rozumět GPP

Pokud vám nebo někomu, koho znáte, byla diagnostikována generalizovaná pustulózní psoriáza (GPP), je důležité vědět, o jakou nemoc se vlastně jedná.

GPP je vzácný typ psoriázy.1 Jedná se o celoživotní, přetrvávající autoinflamatorní onemocnění, které bohužel může být život ohrožující.2 Pokud se neléčí, může vést ke komplikacím včetně sepse (infekce), selhání ledvin, srdečního selhání a syndromu akutní respirační tísně (tekutina v plicích).3

Podpora diagnózy GPP

Mezi projevy vzplanutí GPP patří vznik pustul, které se mohou objevit náhle a pokrýt větší plochy kůže.4 Pustuly jsou zanícené vředy (léze) podobné puchýřům, jsou naplněné hnisem a objevují se na povrchu kůže. Na kůži se mohou tvořit šupiny, může se loupat, svědit a také bolet.10,11 Můžete zaznamenat (systémové) příznaky, jako je horečka, bolest kloubů a svalová slabost.
