About the Centres of Excellence (CoE)

The mission of the Centres of Excellence (CoE) is to champion evidence-informed
excellence in lifelong GPP care.

Their vision is to ensure that every GPP patient:

patient, life-threatening disease, GPP, life-long disease, Act4GPP

Is respected as an individual who has an orphan, severe, life-threatening and life-long disease

dermatologist, diagnosis of GPP, specialist, Act4GPP

Receives prompt diagnosis

healthy emotional and social wellbeing, Act4GPP

Accesses evidence-based, innovative lifelong holistic care

quality of life, access to care, life-threatening disease, Act4GPP

Experiences the best possible quality of life

CoE criteria

The CoEs have been identified in collaboration with leading healthcare professionals in GPP and Patient Organisations to provide access to care for people living with GPP.

These Centres have been established with:

  • the strongest level of expertise.

  • a multidisciplinary team.

  • the goal to achieve the best patient outcomes possible.

Locations

There are currently several CoEs across Europe. People living with GPP will be able to have access to the latest clinical trials and best-available care around GPP.
