Zrozumieć UŁK (GPP)

Jeśli u Pani/Pana lub bliskiej Pani/Pana osoby zdiagnozowano uogólnioną łuszczycę krostkową (ang. GPP - Generalised Pustular Psoriasis), ważne jest, aby dowiedzieć się, czym w ogóle jest UŁK.

UŁK jest rzadkim rodzajem łuszczycy.1 Jest to przewlekła, ciężka choroba zapalna, która niestety może zagrażać życiu.2 Nieleczona może prowadzić do powikłań, w tym posocznicy (infekcji), niewydolności nerek, niewydolności serca oraz zespołu ostrej niewydolności oddechowej (płyn w płucach).3

Wsparcie przy rozpoznaniu UŁK

Zaostrzenia UŁK obejmują wykwit krost, które mogą pojawić się nagle i pokryć duże obszary skóry.4 Krosty to owrzodzenia objęte stanem zapalnym i przypominające pęcherze (zmiany) wypełnione ropą pojawiające się na powierzchni skóry. Skóra może się łuszczyć lub swędzieć, a nawet boleć.10,11 Mogą wystąpić (ogólnoustrojowe) objawy, takie jak gorączka, ból stawów i osłabienie mięśni.
